About the SCC
The Shintaku Cultural Center is an online community with like-minded individuals who have expertise in arts, culture, philosophy and more. We gather regularly within interesting conversations and workshops. Founded by Melanie and Shiro Shintaku, we hold online and (hopefully soon) in-person events, courses and conversations.

We welcome all those who have interest or talents in the arts, like to learn languages, travel or understand cultures and would enjoy a peaceful place to learn and dialogue.

Kalachakra
Washington, DC
Organizing Committee Member for the 2011 Kalachakra with His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Washington, DC. We provided web design and other creative services, and acted as a planning committee member for all aspects of planning. This 18 month effort culminated into an enormous 11 day event requiring onsite daily support in a leadership capacity. Daily attendance ranged from 10,000-15,000 attendees and groups of participants and performers on stage with HH the Dalai Lama.
